Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make. Having the right information and someone you can trust to guide you through this process makes a huge difference.
The first hour will be an overview of our first time homeownership program followed by a two-hour workshop where CCCS will walk you through each step of the home buying process from credit preparation to loan documentation and what to expect at closing.

These free first time homebuyer workshops are being offered by Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Delaware Valley as part of a Homebuyer Study funded by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
A key component of the program is an evaluation to examine the benefits associated with different types of homebuyer assistance. Abt Associates is the research company responsible for collecting data from program participants for the evaluation.
All those who agree to participate in the program will receive a basic level of homebuyer assistance. Based on a lottery, half of the study participants will also get one-on-one homebuyer counseling.
By participating in this program and its evaluation, you will be making an important contribution to understanding how organizations such as CCCS can best help people become successful homeowners.
